i just bought a new mag and was wondering.....

i just bought a used mag that was in storage for 6 years i was wondering if i might have issues? i have heard about mags reliability
and my next questions is what should be the first upgrade?

Oil it and dry fire it. That should be all, dry fire it without Barrel, just 3-4 Drops of good Oil in the ASA (where the Bottel screw in) and maybe the On/Off (its a little part under the Valve which you can pull out).

What kind of Mag do you get??

Maybe you have a pic????? Is it a classic Valve, ReTro, RT, X-Valve??

i dont know the guy didnt know left from right on the marker and the pics arent worth wasting time with i think it a classic valve but im not sure i havent got it yet its coming in the mail
edit: and its a classic i bought it to learn a little about mags before i bought an expencive one

If it has been in storage for six years, it is probably a classic. Like little ho said just put some oil in the air source adaptor, in the on/off assembly, and the power tube tip.. The most you will have to do is replace some o-rings. Good luck and enjoy your mag.

ok heres my plan on upgraded

1 a y or z grip
2 a lvl 10 kit
3 a xvalve
4 eventualy a ule body

i think thats about what i would want anything that ill need and am missing or suggestions?
