    classic 68 automag

hello this is my first post so im not sure if this is the right place. Recently i got ahold of a classic 68 automag. I was wondering about the upgradability of it. The person told me there are many upgrades for mags. I was wondering if i could but new bodies on my mag and other things. Basically i just need to know if im able to do it because i dont think i can because my gun is too old.Thank you

i play a 68 classic and i love it!! One thing that sets mags above the rest is the backwards compatability of the agd products. so upgrading the old classics with new parts is possible.

I have a classic Mag which is stock (with the exception of a Benchmark double trigger frame) and I am considering the following upgrades:

X-valve, red anodized (can handle 26+ balls per second!, also comes with level 10 upgrade)
I have a boo-yaah trigger frame and I am currently deciding what to do about that. I may consider the Ultra Light Trigger set up and stay mechanical.

If you are considering esthetic upgrades there are different mainbodies avaliabe that look ultra-trick! Check this one out: http://store.airgun.com/index.cfm?fu...&categoryID=10

There is another Mainbody avalable from the same dude that makes the ones listed above. Here's the link: http://www.automags.org/forums/showt...hreadid=116824

As far as barrels are concerned you can make you own conclusions. The FREAK system is a great system. I use a 12" CP barrel @ .689 and I have an Armson which I use for scenario play. It has a rifled barrel and I love the accuracy (unfortunately it doesn't move mass quantities of paint very well).
