    new marker ?

    hey all,
just got my .68 automag classic in. just wondering which body is better, the one where the feed to go directly into it, or the one where the feed tube is on top and slanted?

It is just preference. The slanted one is called a power feed, it is made out of stainless steel and uses twist lock barrels. The one that comes out of the top a called vert feed, they come in stainless steel an alumninum also know as the ULE body. The ULE body uses autococker threaded barrels.

the power feed is better if you are using an agitated loader. If you are using gravity or a force fed loader go with the vert feed. However the vert feed gives the marker a lower profile and a better balance.

it sounds to me you are asking about the standard feed, and the power feed.
If it were me I would get the power feed, when I first got a mag I got one with the standard feed because it was cheaper, my friend got a power feed. He had a lot less chops with the powerfeed than I had with the standard feed. The reason being the powerfeed allows the blowback air to leave the chamber with out bobbiling the balls inside of the tube.

            I hope this makes sense,
