I just found a cheap ULE body for sale on ebay and couldnt resist. Now I'm in the market for a new barrel. Its been about 6 years since I've gone barrel shopping. Whats up with these barrel sizes, I've been seeing all different sizes. Does the diameter of the barrel really matter that much? If so, what should I be looking at? Also, is there any benefit to having a 2 piece barrel vs. a one piece?

most unmarked barrels will be somewhere in medium bore (roughly .688-.692) and its a Paint/Barrel match issue, the current thought in the world is that in order to achieve maximum accuracy you must have a perfect paint/barrel match.
For the casual player, don't worry about it, a .688-ish barrel will cover the majority of your paintball needs.
1-piece vs. 2-piece is a personal prefference issue, there are advantages to both and I admit to being a big believer in 2 piece barrels, but really a quality 1 piece barrel (CP, LAPCO, Proto, and the like) will shoot as well as a 2 piece and cost nearly half as much.
I'll end here for the sake of brevity. hope this helps.
