Actual pressure behind a paintball ?

Hey guys .. i'm working on a little project and had a quick Q: What is the actual pressure of the gas being released to shoot a paintball ? ( assuming a normal velocity ... )

It is easy to find a guns "operating pressure" but thats what the gun requires put into it to shoot, right ? Not the actual ammount pushing the paintball, because otherwise guns would all have different normal velocities it seems.

I may just be stupid, but if anyone could help me out, please let me know.

I remember somewhere that it's about 90psi to accellerate a paintball to 300ft/s or something like that, but it's a lot lower than you would probably think.....

The mag uses 65psi as "on ball pressure." Only the original Matrix was lower than that. Tom posted these somewhere, try looking in Deep Blue.

Approx 45psi - 100psi. It varies depending on the marker.
