I have 3 CO2 tanks right now and a spare classic valve. Can I use the classic valve if I leave the Emag in mechanical mode ONLY? I'm sure the Classic valve trigger weight would screw the electronics up so I would only keep it in mech mode. I don't see what would get hurt, the on/off is in the exact same spot as the RT on/off. Thanks for the help.
Emag in mech mode with classic valve?

I do have an HPA tank, just I never have air 'cept when I'm at the field. They give free air so I always bring my 3 co2 bottles and get them filled up. I would just use HPA but it doesn't give enough shots to play where air isn't available. I'd only do this if my friends are going to play in the woods and I only have CO2 to use. Or if I just want to go squirrel hunting.
My favorite hobby.
And now I do not have an Emag. I was planning on buying one but the guy I was buying it from had to back out for some reason or another. I'm still on the look-out for those lowers however.

putting a classic valve on the Emag frame and using mech mode would be...essentially....like running the classic on any other frame. I don't see the problem with CO2 and the classic valve.

You can use the classic valve on the emag if you switch the emag on-off assembly into the classic valve. That will give you full emag functionality and the ability to use CO2.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

I remember hearing someone putting a classic on an emag a while ago, and using it in E.

So if I have the emag on/off in my classic valve, it would work all around? That's cool, just I'd get shoot down... But my hopper wouldn't be able to keep up to the speed where shoot down occurs anyway so....
I'm asking if I could stick an all stock classic valve in the emag, and have it work in the mechanical mode. I'm sure the electonics would get screwed up because of different tolerences, so I'd keep it mech only. Thanks for the help so far.

The all stock classic will work. It just won't work in emode. The larger pin makes the pull force required to activate the valve too high for the solenoid. It will work in manual mode though.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Ok, that's exactly what I was thinking. Will there be a conflict with the on/off pin being longer though? I know the emag on/off is shorter and the sear rod is set longer and I guess those two things even themselves out. But with a longer pin and the already long position sear rod, what'll happen? Maybe I could just not pull the trigger all the way back....

The longer pin isn't really an issue. I tried it and it works fine. The longer pin means you will get less reactivity in the trigger. This isn't an issue with the classic valve. The longer pin means you will have to make sure you fully release the trigger after each shot to prevent short stroking the valve.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
