How does a pump mag work?

I tried to search for the info but I was not getting any satisfactory answers.
Does the pump rod connect to the bolt or does it just push against it?
What dose the wave spring do?
How exactly does the whole prosses work?
There is a MicroMag available to me that is just screaming for me to atempt a conversion.
And before anyone says that it won't work and I would need a pump rail and pump body, I am willing to take that risk.
I just need to know how the bloody things work.
If any one has pics of the parts for a pump kit I'd love to see them.

Ok, the pump rod pushes back on the bolt but is not attached to it.

The wave spring goes behind the bolt which causes bolt stick.

you will have to play with the wave spring and bolt because with my pump mag, she sometimes cockes herself because the spring wasnt enough. So put like a washer behind it if this happens to help the spring out. But that is after you have finished the gun and have found out that your gun is doing the same

That is why you cut down the blue bumper.

Check out that page for a real breakdown of almost every part.

An AGD factory tech tuned out my pump and I was told to just omit the bumper al together.
