Emag quad ring / mech only

I'm using an Emag valve in mech only, no electric at all.

    It's a double O-ring bottom on the on/off.

The valve has the black 'quad' O-ring, along with the larger o-ring around it in the on/off.

Should it ONLY use the black quad o-ring? Or can it use the white hard o-ring such as is shown on the diagrams of the RT valve and X-valve? Does it really make any difference since it's going to be used in mech only.

    thanks in advance.

*(yeah, really miss the sig's....they added so much personality to the AO boards...but I won't complain)*

Keep it as is, just change the pin. The quad oring actually provided less friction on the Emag on/off pin. No reason not to use it.

i tried using the quad oring in my rt but ran into some leaking issues, not sure if the quad might be damaged or wasnt oiled enough, but i jsut switched it out cause i had the oring on hand, may try to use it again though.
