Dye UL barrel problem!?

Hi!

I've got two, 2-piece cocker threaded Ultralite barrels, a 14" and a 16" tip, a .684 and a standard (.688 I think?) bore back. Here's my problem: both the tips work on the .684 bore back, but the 14" tip don't fit the .688 bore back while the 16" tip does. I was under the impression they where all interchangeable, what's the deal here? Anyone got a clue?

sometimes that just happens. they are supposed to interchangable, but i have had a couple that aren't.

I can't see any difference between the two barrels, so why is it they don't fit? Where do they differ? Can I do something about it?

if you wanted to pursue it, maybe take it back to where you bought it or contact tech support at dyeprecision.com.

Well, I bought them used, but I sure could ask Dye about it. Otherwise I'll just have to try and swap 'em with someone else and hope for the best. Where did the "precision" in "dyeprecision.com" go?
