Hey all. I currently run a xvalved level 10 ULT mag with an adjustable 6 8ci 4500psi maxflo tank. I currently run macroline on this mag but i have problems taking the macroline off when im done using it. Im guessing that the extra stored psi in the valve is keeping it on. Is there an easier way of getting this stuff off??

Do you keep the tank on the marker? I had a max flo on my first RT and residual air remained in the system after shut off. Not enough to cycle the valve but enough to ensure ther was air in the line. If this is the case you will have a right b@st@rd of time getting it off for maintenence. Remove the air completely, push the retaining collars in towards the elbow and you should be able to slide out your macro hose easy as pie. -

Maxflo's are a bit of a mission to remove every time aren't they....
The adjustability is useful for fine tuning the RT valve to your style, but a preset circumvents the "air still in the system" difficulty for routine maintenence. It's a two edge sword. I went forr a preset that I will have tested for output. I want a true 800 plus, and I will be testing my centreflag 45/5k this weekend to see just what its' output really is.....Comment

easy fix
I use a stainless quick disconnect on mine, with a straght macro fitting screwed into the disconnect. The quick disconnect is no problem poping off when residual pressure is in the line. Marco dosconnect, as you found out, is a real %$#.Click HERE to see my feedback...Thanks!

I used a quick disconnect in my line even though it was macro line. It saved the ends from being chewed up from constant removal and insertion to vent air.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.Comment

90* + male fitting on valve, female fitting connected to macroline fitting/macroline
