    X-mag/E-mag with ULE trigger

I was just wondering if anyone has tried putting a ULE trigger on their X/E-mag. If someone has how did it work out? Any problems? Did it help the E mode at all?

It is forbidden to put a ULT in an E/X-Mag. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the solenoid not getting enough juice. Plus, my trigger pull is already light as hell on my X.

It will slow the gun down because there isn't enough return force to reset the sear & solenoid assembly.

      ULE and E/Xmag is a no-no.

OK, but has anyone actually tried it?

It won't help in E-mode because the solenoid is pushing the on/off pin. The same for Hybrid. The only mode it would help in is Mech, but with the reduced RT effect, you'll have problems resetting the heavy sear/solenoid plunger assembly.

(Trust me on this- got the Factory Certificate on the ULT.)

Only thing the ULT would be good for, is if you were attempting some kind of a 9v conversion. This would also mean you would be replacing that big noid with something more along the lines of the noid thats in a E-Spyder, or Devil Mag for that matter.

Hypothetically, adding more shims to a ULT will give you more reactivity. Im not sure if that is fact in every case though.....

But as dayspring stated, a ULT in an un modded X/E mag is a big no-no.

In practice, yes you can get more reactivity out of the ULT by shimming it more, but the reduced surface area of the pin itself doesn't have the UMPH that the regular pin would.
