My friend has a new RT Mag with ULT. Straight out of the box it will not fire! He gassed it up and it immediately fired once, then nothing. I have run out of suggestions for him, any help? I never had any trouble like this with mine.
New RT Mag won't fire!

update:
It has been lubed. Velocity was turned all the way up until it could not be turned further, still did not fire and did not vent out back either. Velocity adjustment seemed stiff.
When gassed up the bolt cocks and pressure can be felt against the trigger. With the ULT in, it will not fire at all. With ULT removed and stock replaced it fires like an automatic.

I had him adjust the number of shims in the ULT already, it didn't matter how many or how less were in there, it didn't fire at all. I think he has 4 in it now, still won't fire.Comment

I told him to go through you or Tuna. He ordered from WW because they said they had a Tac One in stock, which they did not. They ignored multiple emails asking about the order. Then they send a DOA marker. I have never dealt with them, is this their norm?!

I just got my Tac-One from him as well, with the ULT trigger. He responded quickly (5 minutes) to my emails, and answered my questions.
My Tac fired when I got it, though it recharged very slowly. I've been running oil through it, and it seems to to be breaking in. I havent dealt with him before this, but it kinda makes ya wonder.

A brand new ULT, esp if dry can cause the bolt to "hang" slightly, leaving trigger pressure but no response from the trigger. I actually bought mine from WW too, and Joe's been a fine guy to deal with for me (and I live in NZ!).
This happened to me, which initially caused me no end of frustration. However, the vast majority of these issues are new gun break in issues. So, assuming there are no level X issues, (if so, attend to those first). The ULT may be dry and not actuating properly which will stop your gun dead. I am not an airsmith, but it seemed to me that if the pin motion is in any way impeded, you will not have a good day. I discovered a litle stiction in the on/off bottom. I carefully worked the pin until it freed up a little, lubed it generously but not excessively, and hey presto, working Mag.
Also, ensure that both frame to rail screws are evenly and not excessively torqued.
Above all, don't give up, it's usually something very minor, as I'm sure this is; there are some very experienced and skilled guys on this forum (VCG, Tunaman for starters) who have tons of very useful posts that apply to your issue.Comment

Okay so we have:
The largest carrier in LX bolt possible without it leaking.
LX bolt has No. 2 carrier and no shims.
LX bolt, valve, ULT all oiled.
ULT has 4 shims currently.
The ULT pin moves freely.
Still will not fire at all no matter what the velocity is adjusted to, and the bolt is seated.

I had a similar problem with my x valve, it would work fine with the stock on/off but the ULT would not fire at all. I ended up using a bunch of shims I can't remember how many are in there but it would not fire until it had like 5 or 6 shims. If it works with the stock on/off but not the ult then your problem should be with the ULT only.Comment

Okay, it has been fixed! Courtesy of BradAGD @ PaintballMaxx! The on/off was too long, strange since it was brand new.
Actually, I have never played out at PBUSA, but I was planning on fixing that sometime soon. Where are you playing at, Purple?Comment
