Need HELP Fast with my on/off assembly!!!

i was just testing some new paint i got in my fairly new to me 68 classic, and my gun was making a little leak down the barrel when i held down the trigger. what o-ring is it?

anyway, i took my gun apart to lube it, and i was curious what the inside of the on/off looked like. and since i didn't pay attention as to what way the on/off pin is supposed to be in the assembly; i dont know anymore. i have tried puting it in both ways, and both ways seem to work fine when gassed up.
is the pin supposed to have the little ribbed end poking outward from the valve? or inward into the valve.?
    thanks.

The notched und goes UP when you install the on/off down into the valve...faces outward...just like the little diagram that is laser engraved right on the valve.

It's the little white teflon oring causing the leak. Pull out the on/off, and you'll see two orings, one inside of another. It's the smaller one that needs replacing.
