    help with RT

I have an RT and first it was leaking air out of the back of the reg and would shoot fast (FPS) and the velocity adjustment didnt seem to help. Now there is no air leaking but if you pull the trigger and hold it, it shoots full auto. I just put a parts kit in and I am running at 725psi tank pressure. I have not previously used the gun in a while. And help would be greatly appreciated

Hmmmm. Do you run a ULT? I assume the gun no longer vents out the back as you have backed off the velocity adjust?

If you do have a ULT, you may have too many shims in it.

The gun is stock and is about 6 years old. I tried cleaning the reg valve pin and on off pin with steel wool. The gun now shoots two shot bursts and will leak air out the back but will stop leaking for a while ( 100 shots) but then starts leaking again. It will consistontly shoot two shots. I pull the trigger and it shoots one shot and a split second later the metal rod behind the trigger comes forward and it shoots another shot. I think the problems have to do with the pins because the o rings fit so tight around them. When I unscrew the the two parts of the valve the one oring is stuck inside of the reg seat holder. I dont know what else to do any help would be appreciated

Usually when air is blowing out the back I have found a new reg piston assm will fix the problem. You can buy these at the AGD store.
