How do I remove the twisy lock assembly????

Hey i just got my ULE body and i cant figure out how to get the twist lock assembly piece out of the rail. Can anyone tell me how to do it?

it was never a problem for me.....just turn it upside down....maybe it was just because I used to always take my gun apart when I used the twistlock.

well.... with my RT the hammer and board crap didnt work.... i had to cut out a piece of ply wood and stick it in a vice to get it out

i actually placed my rail on my dad's work bench, found a piece of foam, and put the foam on the top of the pin and wacked it with a hammer, a few hits and it came out without damage to the rail

I took my rail off and barely hit it with a hammer and it came out easily.

I had to squish mine in a vice...
hitting it with a hammer didnt work....
prehaps I needed to use a bigger hammer

i just stuck mine in a vice with the top faceing downand the vice oped enough for the TL assy. to slip though and i just hit it once really had from the back and out she came

mine fell out if you turned the rail over :)


Dont hit it too hard, the rail is only aluminum...
