    My Mag shot @ me.

I took my Mag apart to repair the safety on a new frame and when I tore it down my on/off valve shot out and just missed hitting me in the place I would least like to be hit . Why? I havn't had air through it since yesterday and pulling the trigger did nothing. Is this common?
Since you can't beat me on the field, why don't you beat me off!!!

If you have a cradle that you can turn your bottle off with and then left your line hooked to the valve it wil still be holding air. You need to bleed the pressure off of the line.

Air can remain in your lines and valve even after you degas the gun. If you have a quick disconnect, or proconnect, then just take it off, to get the air out of your lines. As for air left in your valve, if you take it out slowly, it might come out the pt instead of the on-off. Just aim it so that the on-off doesn't hit you, but isn't going to fly away.
