    autococker ?s

i bought a nelson spring kit for my autococker. unfortunately, the valve springs are .5 in. or so shorter than the stock valve spring. when i put a nonstock sping in there, the gun leaks since the cup seal doesnt have enough pressure on it. what else must i buy to make this work?
also my trigger is sticking REALLY bad. i have to reset the trigger everytime with my ring finger (trigger guard was sawed off so i can put 1 finger in front, 1 finger in the rear of the trigger. ive cleaned the sear, trigger plate, everything i could think of, do i need a heavier trigger/sear spring in there or something?

hey paintbattler we dont want to be anti any other gun besides mags... all of us here are paintballers not racist against any other products. all products made for paintball helps the paintball world grow for the better.. both guns are well made guns. 1 is more complicated the other is more simplistic but both great guns. i just bought an impy and would love an autococker. but i still love my mag and keep it there all the time.

All cockers since 97 use nelson springs, stock. If the other spring is shorter than what came out, its probably not a valve spring. Who's springs did you buy? No matter what the tension, all nelson valve springs I've seen are the same length. Is this an evolution autococker or has it been modified to use different valve springs? If so you need a spacer.

Minimag is right on the trigger. You've got friction making it stick caused by either the trigger plate or 3-way. Make sure the set screws on the 3-way collar are screwed in far enough that they don't rub on the 3-way. If all that doesn't work, see if either the timing or 3-way rod are bent. A heavier trigger spring can overcome the friction. In a pinch you can just stretch the stock spring with your hands. If you've got a stock grip frame remember that aftermarket 45 frames use slightly longer springs. Kits are available from Mad Man, KAPP, shocktech and a few others.

what i have is a 2001 rf cocker with the upgrades in my sig. i think i might go ahead and just buy a 45 frame; i need one anyway. i bought straight shot springs-they were the only springs for sale a pbgear.com what should i do for a spacer? can someone measure the length of their valve spring and tell me what it is so i can check?
oh yeah and one more problem: i bought a shocktech timing rd b/c the threads on mine were wering out. i got it, and it didnt come with screws for the collar, and the ones on my stock collar dont fit- the shocktech site doesnt sell the screws, who does, or where could i get some
