Is this a normal Lv7 spring?

Since we practice with ReBalls every week I need to lighten the Lv10 bolt on the Xmag.
To do so I stripped my old Lv7 automag and took that spring wich seemed a slight smaller than the ones delivered with the Lv10. My X workes like a charm now :)
But now I have to lighten the Lv10 on two more Xmags...

So my Q is: is my Lv7 spring normal or has it become more compressed over time? Bcoz when I stripped another old Lv7 that spring was as long as the smallest in the Lv10 kit.

You know longer springs make it lighter, shorter springs make it harder.
For the ultimate no chop set-up, choose the long one. For the more gas efficient route, take the short one.

Yeah, i know... but I need the spring to be weak and short so the bolt returns with the low pressure we use with ReBalls.. approx 240 fps wich makes the Lv10 freak out...
With too hard spring the Lv10 will react bcoz of the spring itself...

Ok, I see what you're saying.

The stock spring should be just longer than the tip of the bolt.

The small level 10 bolt spring is the same spring as the stock level 7 bolt spring. It will get compressed over time. Usually if it gets too short, it is time to replace it. The spring is usually noticably weaker when this happens.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
