J&J Ceramic / Nubbin issue

okay i recently upgraded my stock minimag to a j&j ceramic and the plastic nubbins (from the stock barrel) dont fit in the grooves... it looks like the milling is in a different direction than the stock's. if anyone has had this problem and fixed it please tell me. also if the nubbins arent completely necessary (the barrel fits fine without them) tell me as well. Thanks!

just trim them with a razor knife a little bit. They dont have to be perfect just as long as the orings hold them down. You NEED to have it in there. That is your ball detent.
