    Makeshift Bumpers...?

Alrighty fellas, I go to oil up my Tac-One for another day of 'ballin and I find my R/T bumper in shreds barely holding on to the powertube. I made a makeshift bumper out of a rubber washer-like object shown in the pics below. So to my questions:

    1) Are there any common objects that can be used as makeshift bumpers that will not damage anything on my valve or bolt? It will be used for a day of paintballin', no more.

    2) I've heard blue bumpers improve the performance of some 'mags. Is this true? Should I purchase some blue ones instead of clear ones? or stick with the clear?

    3) Would the makeshift bumper below be safe to use for a day of ballin'?

Thanks guys, no heres some pics of the bumper I fitted. It is nearly the same thickness of the normal bumper, and just as soft:

    Thanks,
    D

I'm not sure if that makeshift bunker is going to work very well. It needs to be the same thickness as the other bumpers and relatively soft.

Buy another rt bumper and glue it down (prolongs the life of the bumper)
