OK. I have an RT Classic that's in almost perfect shape. I have two tanks, one Nitro Duck 45/45 adjustable screw in, and a 45/45 Dynaflow. I can't get my gun to rapid fire with either tank. The Nitro Duck goes up to about 810ish and the Dynaflow maxes out at 900 psi. I can feel the pin getting harder to depress with the more pressure but it just won't bounce. I've oiled the gun, adjusted the pin to roughly 1mm spacing and still no rapidfire. Can anyone else shoot me some ideas?

Yes, I have the Level 10 installed. I forgot that she eats up more air with the Level 10.Originally posted by stop whining buy a magDo you have the Level 10 installed? That greatly reduces bounce because of the extra pressure required.Comment

Sorry, it's not a "malfunction." Tom Kaye knew good and well that the RT Valve would do what it would do at high pressure inputs. That's why it's rated at 3000 psi.Originally posted by GungaHow about the gun's working the way it's supposed to? Rapidfire aka full auto/bounce/whatever term you wanna use is a malfunction, not a feature. It'll eat up your sear and bolt.Comment

If I crank up my max-flow on my Tac-One it will pretty much only fire rapid fire. It takes a lot of control to only squeeze off one or two shots at a time like that. It is like a little SMG

Its an on/off pin issue. I had lots of trouble getting my classic RT to bounce. Shorten the lenth of the pin. (by thousanths!!) AGD sells different size pins. If you are scared to try to change the lenght yourself, by a few different ones and see which works best. I took a griding bit to mine, removed a little at a time, and kept trying it until i got it where I liked it.
Oh, and dont let anyone tell you not to mess with the pin.
Just be careful not to make it TOO short or it will run away.Comment

Ah. Thank you very much! I'll take another look at her today and see what I can find.Originally posted by BigEvilIts an on/off pin issue. I had lots of trouble getting my classic RT to bounce. AGD does not condone, promote, approve, recommend, warranty, etc,etc..........this condition
Factory specs is 7 to 800psi input.

I always thought more of it as a 'Side-effect".Originally posted by FlawleZSorry, it's not a "malfunction." Tom Kaye knew good and well that the RT Valve would do what it would do at high pressure inputs. That's why it's rated at 3000 psi.
As far as the pin goes, when I called AGD, the tech (Whomever it was at the time) was the one who actually instructed me how to do this. Yeah, you might shorten it out of 'spec', but you will have an e-gun killing beast in your hands. Oh, and ithose pins cost about $15 a peice. Not cheap, but not prohibitively expensive to mess with.
