    Polising a mag

I just got a minimag, and I am in the process of completely revamping it....

But the body is really dull looking, how can I get it to shine up a bit? As in what should I buy, or who should I send it to?

I also need to know what type of reg I should get if I plan on running HP. And I was hoping to put some type of rail, like you see on RT's on the top of the body.....

    Any help would be awesom

you can also wet sand it. Start with a little rougher wet sanding paper then gradually step up to a ultra fine. I used 4 different grades when i did 1. Make sure u do it in water or else you can scratch the metal. And make sure its made for wet sanding. you can get a nice look from it if you do it right.

You can polish a minimag body with sandpaper and a bit of elbow grease. Start with 220 grit and work up to 1500 grit paper. Wet sanding works best. Finish with a chrome polish. the body will shine like a bottle when you are done.

The RT type sight rails don't fit the classic rails. You need a slide on type of sight rail. The only problem with these, is that they can scratch the body.

Don't use another regulator on a mag. It has one already built-in plus there is one on the bottle.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Either a Gas-Thru or just a foregrip. Otherwise you're going to be starving your gun's valve with another regulator.
