what's up, I'm curious as to whether or not this evil board: http://www.evil-paintball.com/omenboardpkg.htm would fit into the agd intelliframe and trip the sear correctly. If so, wouldn't this be a more logical alternative to the "spyder mag" conversion as no alterations to the mag's sear would be required? just an idea, thanks.
Spyder mag alternative?

You'd also need a solinoid, micro switch etc. Not that it can't be done but a sear mod might be easier than the rigamarole that would require
EDIT: My bad I didn't click the link I just assumed and made an *** oot of meLast edited by chairman_mao; 04-09-2005, 03:42 PM. -

yes, it looks like a 'noid
however, mounting and the pressure that the noid can exert MAY be a problem....
you will almost definately need a ULT on it though

I'm doing it on my Logic frame and no you don't need a custom trigger. I'm using Kingman esp internals though. All you need to do is mount the noid in front of the sear so it pushes towards the back of the frame. Plus just mount the switch behind the trigger in the opening for the sear rod. Board and battery should fit in just fine. Set the dwell at about 20ms and you're golden. The kingman noid is too big though, I just have to shave down the noid plunger/rod. The evil noid looks waaaaayyyyy too long.Comment

Cool. Any idea when you'll have that project done? You definately need to let us all know how it turns out for you War. You know of anyone else who's used this board?Originally posted by warbeak2099I'm doing it on my Logic frame and no you don't need a custom trigger. I'm using Kingman esp internals though. I have no bloody idea. We've begun dremeling out the frame, but time is also an issue... I don't have any. I have school, a job, the crew team, girlfriend, college planning, blah blah blah. If I get any extra time I'll finish it up. I have all the electronics and everything, just have to shave down that plunger and fabricate a mount for it out of aluminum. Again, not exactly hard, just difficult to find the time. I promise I will try my hardest to "git er dun!".Comment

Check out my thread about making a electro out of a logic vert in the workshop, it might give you some ideas. If the noid is powerful enough, it should workComment
