Can I swap my Gauge and fill nipple?

I have a crossfire hp tank and the way my asa is set up the fill nipple jams right into my wrist, kinda uncomfortable. Can I swap the fill nipple and the gauge so isn't a problam anymore? I'd like to know before I blow myself up, or worse, mess up my tank.

you CAN switch them... make sure ALL the pressure is out of the tank.... then take them out and put either locktite on the threads or pipe tape and then put them back in

Get a NW products Life Saver seal. Not only will you never need another tank o-ring, it will rotate the tank enough to cure your problem. It's also a lot safer than doing anything to your tank, even something as mundane as switching fittings.
