ULT Problem w/ the on/off top and bottom

Hey. Took my ULT apart and the on/off top will not screw down tight on the bottom. Is is supposed to be tight? A friend of mine helped me add shims and now my gun has some probs. Please help. Thank you and God Bless.

If there aren't enough shims to make it tight, it will just keep spinning...

are you saying that you need to add enough shims to take up the space?? or jsut enough to get the pull right??

No, just add enough shims to make it fire without runaway. The on/off is not supposed to screw together tightly.
