I have 4 barrels for my Automag. Two of them twist on reasonably well, and the other two don't. I can get the JnJ ceramic on if I grab it with both hands and twist it hard. I can't for the life of me get a stock Minimag barrel on since it's so short I can't get a good grip on it. My freak back and progressive barrel well. Anything I can do to get these to go on easier without making them too loose?
Any way to make the twist lock softer?

sure you can, just take off your trigger frame, and unscrew the set screw in the bottom of the twistlock assembly a llittle bit, you'll have to play around with it until you get it right, just don't unscrew it all the way or the spring and stuff will come out.

I guess this would tighten my twist lock as well? Mine is alittle loose.Originally posted by danheneisesure you can, just take off your trigger frame, and unscrew the set screw in the bottom of the twistlock assembly a llittle bit, you'll have to play around with it until you get it right, just don't unscrew it all the way or the spring and stuff will come out.Comment

First oil the O-rings then if that doesnt do it then adjust the twist lock. Are you useing barrel o-rings from a parts kit? If not the o-rings could be the wrong size, I had a few barrels come with o-rings that were to thick and made it realy hard to put the barrel on, I just replaced the O-rings and they work great. Also if you have a barrel that fits to loose you can use some tape in the o-ring grove under the o-ring to make the fit snugger.
You want the barrel snug/tight as it helps keep the barrel from moveing when you shoot and will increase acc.Great Traders: RogueFactor,DoobieComment
