Plastic Nubbin Problem

if anyone has a picture of their J&J Ceramic barrel with plastic nubbins, please post a picture it will be very helpful to me.
i am still confused on how to fit the plastic nubbins into my J&J ceramic barrel, is the side of the nubbin that has the larger 'bump' supposed to go into the side of the barrel, like it is in the stock, or upside-down. it seems to fit better upside-down but the nubbin doesn't stick in as far. i know that i have to shave off part of the nubbin to make it fit into the grooves, but these are the things i dont understand. once again if you have pictures please post them it will be enormously helpful.

i dont have a J&J, but i have a dye Xcel, and the nubbin looks like it pokes a little bit out from the barrel; like its not flush.
just putting it into the body pushes it down, and it pokes into the barrel fine. or if you push it with your finger, it will poke in, and you can see it. maybe thats your problem?
