i keep cutting ball detents(wire nubbins)

help! i keep cutting ball detents when i open up. i have replaced the bolt, spring and even tried a spacer kit. any suggestions?

P nubbins or Z nubbins???

There are two types of wire nubbins. I had a similar problem with some P nubbins and I will never use them again. If they were P nubbins, Try the Z wire nubbin or the new plastic ones.

Go for the plastic ones. They work really well.

i thought the plastic ones could only be used with the super bolt.

That's a common misconception. It is easy to misread the description in the AGD store. If you have a superbolt you *Must* use plastic nubbins. You you do not you *can* use them, but can also use wire nubbins. The plastic ones are much easier to use and last longer due to their nature.

You know, I misread the same way. They should put that in other words.. (I have an order of plastic nubbins coming to my house right now. :) )

I have made the same misconseption.

I have heard nothing but good about them. But all the people that run them have the super bolt. If they will work with any of the mags then I guess after I type this out I go to the AGD store and order some.
