I am assuming you have the ANS reg instead of the AGD reg on the back of your valve. It is compatible with the lvl 10.

okay, thanks. I've been told that its an ans valve and bolt. one person told me that it would not work, but another source told me that it would.

The ANS bolt isn't compatible with the level 10 system. The reg is however.

My advice? Stick with AGD parts. ANS mag parts blow.

          lbreevesii,

I am running an ANS regulator and Lvl 10 and it works fine. ANS regulators are OK; I doubt they are better than an AGD stock one but I disagree with Dayspring that they "blow." But with Lvl 10 only an AGD bolt works.

okay so let me get this straight guys. what I have is an ans reg, and a classic valve correct? or did ans also make a vlave to go with the reg? If it is an ans valve can I put an Lvl 10 on it, or will i need to get an agd valve to run lvl 10?

god i'm so new to mags....ask me any cocker question though

              lbreevesii,

I do not know for sure, I've never seen your setup, but I can see how the nomencalture is confusing. Many people say "valve" and mean the entire assembly which includes both the front part that holds the on-off and bolt and the back part which is the regulator and srews into the back of the valve assembly and is what you see when you look down the marker when shooting. The regulator has the velocity adjustment screwed into it and only a disc pack and seal intenrally.

But then they switch gears and call the "valve" only the front part when they are discussing the regualtor as a seperate item, i.e. I have a Classic Valve and an ANS regulator. It can be confusing at first but once you recognize the teminology the context will usually make it clear what they mean when they say "valve."

ANS made many aftermarket parts for the Mag including a new regulator body into which you would install the disc pack, seal, and velocity adjustment. I am not aware that anyone else made a front part of the "valve" as an aftermarket item although many did make aftermarket bolts including ANS. None of these bolts would work with Level 10 to the best of my knowledge, only AGD makes bolts for the Level 10.

I use an ANS Phase II regulator body on my classic "valve" so everything else is AGD and I think this is what you have. If so then it will work like mine, Level 10 does not interact with the regulator directly.

I fully understand the different valve sections and what not. All I was confused on was weather or not ans made a differnt front valve section that would not be compatible with lvl. 10. I realize that the ans BOLT would not be compatible with level 10, that isn't even a question.

Basicly all i needed to know is that I have an agd valve with ans reg.
