Are you dry firing? I can watch the pressure go down if i dry-fire.

Dry firing give crappy efficientcy, you should get a little better than that if you just shooting paint.

check yout reg seat. If its worn out, it should cause you to use more air.

Dry firing and a high velocity setting can have a bad effect on efficiency.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

oil it up, dry fire off 100 shots take it out an start shooting paint. if it's brand new you need to break it in. my gun got maybe 300 when i first got it, it gets over 700 now

If it's as new as you say...

Then it'll cost you a couple of tanks but you gotta put some cycles through the marker. As MadPSience said, it needs dry firing out of the blocks really. I'd lube up, put a couple of oil drops into your air inlet on the valve and fire a whole tank off, just dry firing. Then repeat with a second tank and halfway through switch to firing paint. You should find that the more the mag 'settles in' the better your efficiency will be.

What may occur is that as you fire it you'll get leaks as the o-rings bed in, so listen out for them or just leave it gassed up and make a note of the pressure and leave it for an hour, if it's leaking it won't hold tank pressure.

                          Good luck,

                          Chimp

when i first got my xvalve, ult and lvl10 setup the efficiency on my gun was horrible. just like what your describing. I shoot about 1800-2000rnds of paint for a whole day and use about 10-11$ of air. I just make sure everything is oiled up and not leaking
