im sort of new to mags...but i know all the parts
first off last year i bought a used mag with an extra o-ring/parts kit..im guessing all of the oring were used or pretty bad...i had some bad leaking and reliability problems in the past with it..only played about 4 or 5 times using it..
i bought a new powertube and on/off oring from a store for 3 bucks each and now it works fine..before under the on off valve and the brass peice those 2 orings didnt fit together right, the smaller one wouldnt go all the way in and my on off valve was partially sticking up and i didnt even know if it should have been like that..well i fixed that problem and the gun works fine now, except when i release the trigger, there is a small leak of air..if i shoot fast it gets longer..and it shoots paintballs out slower, so im assuming it could be a regulator problem..i had my gun chronod at around 280 and everyonce in a while there is a small leak out the back reg..i changed the reg seat and still have the problem..it might be the spring/piston i have a few extra of those, but i think they are used...anyway im just trying to diagnose the problem and see what i can do to fix it..
i was planning on selling my mag soon and buying an ion..
but that will put me back quite a bit, so i was considering as i have before to get an e-frame lcd for my mag...which i can pick up for dirt cheap ($150 CDN)..but i wasnt sure about this due to the unreliability of my mag from other problems which were all my own fault im assuming...
i know its an old mag and it came with an extra bolt and regulator..which i tried to gas up once but got some major leaks...so i just left it off...
so this is also a question, should i keep my mag and get a new trigger frame...or sell it for around $200 and buy an ion for $430 CDN with tax at a store here
if i kept the mag i would also consider in the near future a lvl 10 bolt..
