What size ASA Thread TAP Size for SS or macroline

Does anyone know what size hole and tap I need to make an rt pro foregrip a gas-thru grip?

I prefer to have a gas thru grip so I don't have to have the airline in the way of the trigger frame.

    Thanks

1/8th NPT is the tap you want. But Pipe threads/taps aren't straight: they taper, so the actual hole is going to be quite a bit larger than 1/8 inch.

The tap drill is a size Q. Or, you can use a 21/64 drill and then ream with a tapered pipe reamer. If you do a google search for national pipe thread I'm sure you'll come up with all kinds of info.
