Minimag body on a RTP rail any mods?

Oh automag gurus answer my question. Any modifications need to mound a minimag body on a RT Pro Rail.

Yeah, you either need to ream out the round hole in the rail so it will take the kind of oval shaped peg on the MM body or grind the MM body peg 'til it is round. The aluminum rail would be easier to grind, but if you messed up it could be ugly. I have seen pics of some guy grinding a MM body peg round, but I dunno what he used. Try searching using your title.

anybody have pics of the right way, wrong way, alternative ways, of doing the mod. I don't want to do it and then later regret not having an example.

As was said, you can mod the body PIM(the mount) or the slot in the rail. If you have a dremmel you can do the rail easily, just take your time and do a little at a time. If you don't feel confident doing it yourself, you can send it out to one of the fine dealers here on AO. Tunaman, RogueFactor, Whitewolf, Logic, etc... they will all hook you up at little to no cost, drop them a PM and ask.

Oh god... is it me or does something smell like bad fish around here. Hopefully I'll get my rail today. I know what your guys are talking about the oval shaped pim. I'm still thinking whether to try it myself or have one of the professionals on the form do it. Besides I was thinking of having some milling done to my rail. Any one know if rogue does milling to stock rail or would we have to buy one from him for milling. I also was in the dealers form and saw some milling by luke pretty niffty.
