    New X valve won't shoot

    Hi, I just bought a new Xvalve with the level 10 installed. I put it in a mag I made out of piece parts
    It has a ULE body, DYE frame . When I gas it up the nothing will happen, it's like the sear isn't letting the bolt go. There is no leaks.
    I tried turning it up and turning it down.
    I tried the valve in one of my other mags to see if that would work but nothing.

    Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

      try and go up a carrier size and maby the small spring

          I'm having the same problem with mine...just got it a week or so ago used from someone on the forum and it won't shoot. Trigger rod has pressure on it, the trigger pull is hard, but i pull it all the way back and nothing happens...is it the carrier or spring for the level10?

              Unfortunately for me, bought my whole setup used and i have no cd...my gun is at the airsmith right now though, so it's going to get fixed one way or the other, I supposed this way i'll just be paying an arm and a leg for it....

                      Also what tyoe of tank do you have make sure high pressure. with an output of 850 or greater.

                          Well I got it up and ripping. Thanks for the tips everyone.
                          What I did was lubed it extensivly, almost got it going. Then I added three shims to the ULT on/off (5 total) and upped the carrier size to 2.5 from the 1.0 that it came with and YAHOO!!

                              Just remember what you had done before to get it up and running, it may change on you after a weekend of playing. I know mine was very tempermental when I fist got mine, It freaked me out the following weekend when my perfect setup just wasn't so perfect anymore.

                                  Nope, I'm afraid that I've tried every suggestion and still no progress. I sent it out today to tuna, so it should be good as new in a week or so.
