    sydarm locking up

i recently purchased a new sydarm. the night i got it i put in a 12 gram, and paint and shot about 2 shots before the trigger wouldn't pull anymore. today i shot it in much warmer temperatures and i went through about 30 rounds then it locked up. is there any way to prevent this besides using compressed air? and if there is no way to prevent it, is there anyway you can fix it when it happens besides just letting it sit for a while? i know co2 is not a very stable air source, but maybe you guys can give me some pointers.

yeah, but then later i would put a new one in and it would get like 4 shots and lock up. it is not because there is no co2 left in the 12 gram, it is because liquid co2 is getting in and it is freezing up.

shoot slower...? thats all i can say besides getting an electricly wired heating pad to warm up the entire marker. or you can run an unsightly expansion chamber, that'd solve your problems but ruin the whole flow of a sydarm. Not much you can do there if you still wanna keep the essence of a pistol, only can fire slower.

You'll need to break the thing in. Unfortunately, unless you have a constant air adaptor ( Tunaman has em for $47), it's gonna require about 4-6 12 grams. Same thing happened with my sydarm. Just keep shooting it, and it'll loosen up. Or go directly to the lvl.X. But I doubt thats needed.

I don't know if any of you remember the video tape which came with 68Automags back around 10 years ago, but at the end during the credits / bloopers Tom Kaye was trying to quicky shoot a Sydarm and it kept jaming up on him as well. I never knew why they included that in the video tape ... but even though I always wanted a Sydarm I always remember that and wonder if will happen to me.

it's kind of strange, but the other day i got about 2 full 12 grams (35 shots) out of it without locking up. today i couldn't get more than 1 shot out of it without it lcoking up. i guess i'll just get a ca adaptor for it and break it in or just continue to use ca
