    Another Trigger Sticking Thread

Reading over the stuff on these forums has lead me to nothing that works so I figured I would start another thread and ask. My mag is having a problem where when I pull the trigger it does not recock right away and instead just shoots C02 down the barrel till maybe 2 seconds later when it recocks. Right now I am using a a classic valve with a level 7 bolt. I have the C02 go in straight from the ASA through a macroline and into the valve. The thing is the problem only happens after maybe 10 shots and my valve seems to get cold and it stops working. If anyone could think of anythiing I woudl greatly appreciate it.

OkI have a movie up now, YOu can see and hear pretty much everything going on, you can even see the trigger not recock after a bunch of shots. Hope it helps. MY hosting sucks too so if anyone can mirror this that would be great.

You may be getting liquid into the valve at higher rates of fire. You may also be experiencing bolt stick. Check your bolt spring and replace if necessary. Bolt springs are a consumable item on mags.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

How would I know if my bolt spring needs replacing?

it definately sounds like a liquid co2 problem.. a palmers stabilizer will help out a bunch.

The bolt spring should be about 1/4" past the tip of the bolt. It may be ok even shrinking to 1/8" over time. If it compresses easily it is best to replace it. Many tourny players years ago used to replace their bolt springs before every tournament. Put a new one on and try it. They are pretty inexpensive. Infact, you used to be able to buy a mini-kit with a bolt spring and a few key o-rings rather thatn the full o-ring kit. I don't think they sell the minikits anymore, but I'm sure if your mag has any age at all on it, that it wouldn't hurt to replace the bolt spring..
