    Im ripping my hair out....

Alright. I love my tac1. I think the automags are really good guns, but my own technical incompetence is hindering its performace. Here are my problems. I would like straight forward answers, if there are any. This gun cost me enough...I dont want to end up spending the same amount in paint and air trying to get the dang thing to work right.

    1. Chopping. In 200 rounds I broke between 5 & 8 balls. That is rediculous, especially with the lvl 10 installed.

    2. bolt sticking. The bolt stuck 2-4 times in 200 rnds. Again, unacceptable.

    3. I dont know what this is...maybe what you all call "chuffing?" the bolt doesnt have enough pressure behind it and the paintball comes rolling out of the barrel with a a"chuff" sound. Happened more times than I could keep track of. probably 10-20 times.

Alright, here is the config. of my tac 1 prior to shooting the 200:

LVLX: two shims and the ohter brass piece is whichever one was in it to start with.

ULE: all but one ULE shim installed

6 drops of oil in airway

While Im thinking about it, is the LVLX preinstalled? i noticed another triangular bolt piece (the rubber-ish part). I think it is installed, but not sure. Then again, cant be too sure. Thanks guys, I really am new to mags, but I want this stuff to work right. Thanks

You need to tune your LX. Usually, they do it out of the factory but they must not have done a very good job on yours (either that or changes in the atmosphere messed with the setup or something like that)

Here is a guide for setting up level 10.. something you should read and make sure you have a full knowledge of, so when problems do occur, you can pinpoint them and fix them.

From what you said, its probably best just to start tuning from scratch. That rubber piece is already installed in the bolt, its just an extra incase the other one blows off (its glued on, so that can happen)

I know that is a long page, but it's worth it to read it all. Trust me. :)

Sounds like a level 10 problem. Try the next larger carrier, ideally you want the largest carrier you can get without air leaking down the barrel and the longest spring that can still chrony at the speed you need. Make sure you put some lube down the power tube before you play also.

Bolt stick might be due to the grip frame screw being unevenly tightened. They both have to be tightened with a hex key wrench, with approximately equal torque.

          ULE RT Custom

          Red ULE body
          ULT
          Electric Logic vert frame
