    question on ReTro Valve on/off

ok so i want a ult, but i have a ReTro Valve..

i was looking on the ult thread (that is stikied) and i have to drill out my valve, ok, so it can be done... but i am wondering if i already have it. i got the gun off of ebay about 5-7 months ago, works perfectley no matter what, but i don't know what a ult looks like sooo...
i looked at it and i only have one o ring in the bottom of the on/off, and my on/off screws apart.

so does this need to be drilled? i am guessing it does...

and while youa re awnsering my question how much does the ult cost? i will look that up in a minute...

and if it does have to be drilled who can do it for me?

    thanks

and it is valve #VV00793 reverse if that malkes a difference.

    why bother drilling?

To me, it is better to sell your RT with level 10 for $140 and buy an X-valve with ULT for around $180. Why pay $45 for ULT and pay to have RT drilled and take a chance that the driller screws it up?

For the same $$$ or a couple of bucks more, get an X that is lighter and made for theULT.

    Just my $.02

If your on/off top only has one oring, then you would need to get the valve milled.

      Ask for Brad.

have been told that it screws apart and that means it is a ult. cool.

and the reason why i am not going to sell this one is because it is a reverse

          pics!

i am having second thoughts... here is what it looks like. sometimes i am so hardheaded.

first one is of the on/off taken apart with a few shims and the second one is of the place that the on/off goes into.

That's not a ULT. And it's not ULT compatible. You'll either need to buy a valve that does accept it or get it drilled out.

All RT valve on/off's like that will unscrew. It doesn't mean it's a ULT.
