Trigger Frame Questions

I'm trying to decide on a frame to put on the new RT ULE Custom Mag I'm getting.

I'm stuck between the Y-Grip and a 90 degree frame.

As for 90 frames, which is better the Logic or the RPG Chimera?

Also which is better a 90 or the Y-Grip? I know it's all about personal preference, but what are your opinions?

I'm a total newb when it comes to mags so all help is appreciated.

if you like angles i say go with a z i find them much more comfortable personally, and it keeps it tight to your body, and if your going to customize it it will leave you with the most interior room, personally im a , the z helps you keep a tighter profile stick your wrist down and keep it close to your body ... your elbow stick out, now throw it at a 45 angle facing up, it keeps your elbow in, i like zs or ys over vert but like you stated its all preference

i love how my rpg feels, never really shot with a y-grip. but considering how i shoot (i hold me marker really close to me) i bet that would also feel comfortable. plus its made by agd

y-grip or 90 degree....????

I got both (y-grip and a 90). Both feel great but the biggest advantage has to go to the y-grip because it makes your gun have a smaller feel to it. Plus due to the foward positioning of the bottom of the grip it also brings your tank in some which shortens your overall length of your marker.

The 90* (Chimera Frame) is also comfortable, but it is a slight tad bit longer and makes your marker feel a little bit bigger V.S. a y-grip set up. The biggest advantage to a Chimera Frame (90*) is that it's a little lighter than a y-grip.

Both are nice and I couldn't decided either so I ended up buying a whole new set up just for my y-grip. Only joking! The only reason I play more with my y-grip set up is because of the compact feel. It's all a matter of personal preference. You should feel both to be totally happy with your choice. I lean more towards a y-grip also mainly due to the fact of the y-grips uniqueness. It gets a lot more attention and everyone wants to hold it. Check out my past post if you want to see some pictures (see the Viper blade and 15 degree asa posts). I own a Y Grip and even though my mag doesnt really work, it feels awesome. instead of actually gripping it, it "rests" in your hand. Another plaus is that my entire setup, with tank and barrel, is 18 inches long. Personally, I think the Z grip is a little extreme. But like you said, it is all about personal preference. Before you make a choice, see if it is possible to try all of them out.

As far as trying them out... That won't work, the only mag I've really seen in person was an old 68 Classic. No stores around me carry AGD stuff either.

I do think I'm leaning toward the Y-Grip. It just seems more ergonomic, plus I like having vrey unique markers.

I just got rid of my Y-grip for a Logic vert frame, and let me tell you it's sweet as hell. Personally I think the Logic frame is lighter than a Y-grip, but I haven't weighed them yet. The cool thing about the Logic vert frame is it comes with trigger stops, a comfy trigger, anda screw that can make the sear trip earlier in your stroke. I think I'll be playing with this frame for the rest of my life.
