is it ok for me to put a regulator from a 47ci on a 68ci tank? Everything is 3k pressure. Any directions you guys can give on changing regulators? Should I just take it to a scuba shop or something.

it should be fine, the regulator is built for 3000 psi, the tank size does not matter. i have to say... DO NOT DO IT YOURSELF. take it to a certified airsmith to get it switched. doing it yourself is a good way to lose an eye... or a head.you know you play this game too much when the neighbors stop fixing their broken windows...

Shouldn't be a problem.
Should you do it yourself?
Offical answer: no take it to a scuba shop or airsmith
TRB answer: go for it. Use you brain and you will be fine. If you lose your head, you probably deserved it.

if you have something at 3k psi you want to make sure its done right. personally, I would be scared to death to air up anything i had messed with.
But yes, as far as I know, all tank regulators are threaded the same, and as long as they are the correct pressure, it should be fine.

Most tanks use the same thread. (5/8" I think). However some tanks use (3/4") threads. The old Nitro Duck adjustables come to mind. not sure who else used the larger threads.Originally posted by Hotshot33610if you have something at 3k psi you want to make sure its done right. personally, I would be scared to death to air up anything i had messed with.
