How to get the highest rate of fire?

I know that some serrious modifications can be done to Mags. I want to get some answers before I have some parts to experiment with. I will have my gun set up for tournement play and i also want to be able to have maximun rate of fire with a mag. I know that mods can increase wear on parts but thats the risk.

does the ult slow down your rate of fire because of loss of reactivity? how would the pressure input up to 1200 help?

and by doing sear mods to shorten the length of the trigger pull increase the weight of trigger pull? does it increase reactivity?

A buddy of mine is making a sear that weight half the amount of the original, how much difference will this make? any ideas..

Yes in my experience. It's cool but it's just not any faster IMO. I prefer the regular on/off on a mech mag, with an adjustable tank of course, I always have an adjustable tank on a mag.

I don't know what sear mods you are talking about, but trigger stops are a big must do upgrade.

I would NOT ever run a homemade sear, making it lighter is not going to do anything positive.

I'm guessing you want no reactivity but a light trigger pull???

Your best bet would be to get a ULT. Once you have it tuned and shooting right then install trigger stops. You do not want to try both of these at once because it will be a pain.

Most tournaments don't allow any kind of RT so an adjustable tank isn't really necessary. A preset tank should keep up fine with the ULT even at higher ROF's.

ok heres some advice, someone i know named "Smoke" has been shooting classic mags for three years, he can pull a trigger with only his middle finger faster than most people can walk an ion, its almost like controlled fanning with one finger, so iin the end it doesnt matter how light your trigger pull is, but how fast you can actually move your finger

true its all about how fast you can pull the trigger. I do have a 68/4500 flatline and i like the adjustability. Im working on my micromag rite now, you can find it in the classifieds. If i do keep it i will be getting a new trigger with dual trigger stops, i seen those.

About the sear modifications i seen it in a post where the sear had a shorter swing by bringing the angle closer to the sear bearing. do a search i seen a pic. and a buddy of mine was gonna get these new lighter ones made at a machine shop, the lighter the moving parts the faster it can shoot theory...

Ok the sear mod you are talking about has merit, though I haven't tried it. But don't waste your time with the lighter sear, I mean it.

Nobody, I thought you were talking about drilling a different hole in the sear to change the leverage characteristics. You should really try to be more clear.

yea thats what i seen, some one drilled a hole to change the leverage. what does this do to the trigger?

Doesn't luke modify sears? EDIT: Yup... http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=155104

Changing the pivot location allows for either a softer and longer pull or a harder and shorter pull...
