new design solenoid on/off

why not design a valve with a solenoid in place of the on/off. electronics are becomming cheaper. and The basic design of the valve is simple and effective. With a solenoid on/off a new electronic trigger frames could be made.

could a solenoid fit in the on/off or would a new design be needed?

Im sure it could be done.. ive thought about that concept myself many times. You would probably need a 2 noid desing with a mag, one for the on/off and some kind of contraption to catch the bolt. (or push it and hold it back)

lets say the solenoid controlled the sear, and was inside the valve. then there wont be the bolt catch/release problem. a new sear could be used because trigger rod is needed.
