It depends on the setup of the ULT.

    But I'm leaning to without...

Sort of depends on the user too. Some really like ULT and have a better feel with it others can't find their rythm with ULT.

Scientifically the X-Valve without the ULT is going to be faster. With 1200 PSI going into the gun you may get the X-Valve to be a little bit more reactive with only the stock on/off. The ULT basically slows down the recharge rate so it the stock on/off will be faster. If you can walk your ULT and it bounces then you may have an advantage over the stock on/off.

I guess this really depends on the gun and its reactivity.

definitely with 950-1000psi the stock on off is going to be faster due to severe reactivity. Id say its definitely depends on the person on what they feel more comfortable with .

I short stroked/chuffed my ULT too much. If I had it to do again, I'd have gotten it with the stock on/off, not the ULT.

My classic RT is no where near the speed of the RTP with the ult installed. Again it would have factors like the imput psi, state of tune in the set-up, the user ect. I like the ult alot. So much I might just have my Classic RT valve milled for it.
