    full auto 68 classic?

I just finished playing for the day, went home cleaned them, oiled them, the usual. But when I went to hook up the air to my 68 classic, the gun went full auto without pressing the trigger, and didnt stop until the tank was removed. After inspecting the gun I found that I forgot to put the sear back in. Anyway, I was wondering why the gun would go full auto without the sear in? I always thought the on/off pin would stay down and the gun would leak without the sear in, especially in a 68classic. Has anyone else had a brain fart like that and had it happen?

Alright, so when the trigger is pulled the on offs air is cut out. And the other end of the sear lets go of the bolt at the exact same time., WEll, imagine the on off being constantly down (thus constand air flow) and the bolt not having anything to catch it, but your spring to recock it... And it just has to let the air out some how

As well, how did you forget the sear

What was the rate of fire?

That's really interesting. Not that I have anywhere I could use full auto, but I'm curious about the capabilities of the valve.

... and on reflection, I realize it probably wasn't getting a full stroke in, so it probably wouldn't fire balls at all, even if it was loading them.

That's interesting.. What spring did you have in it?

I know on my RTP, if I take out the bottom O-ring on my ULT, It will fire full auto.

It was the stock level 7 spring and bolt, I dont know if it would have fired any balls or not, and it was shooting about the same as an xvalve when it goes full auto im guessing.

Maggot6, I didnt even think about the spring cocking it, makes alot of sense. As far as me forgeting the sear, well lets just say the pizza had just arived and i got in a hury.
