    pre 2000 cocker question

i know this is a mag forum, but i just have a quick cocker question and i don't really want to dirty myself by signing up with pbn...

i know pre-2000 cockers need a different length bolt from current cockers. does this mean that they need special pre-2000 cocking rods too? (note, i'm asking about cocking rods, NOT pump rods)

No. You could always use the old back block if you want to use the old bolt, instead of buying a new one.

You can run any cocking rod you want.
You can also put a 2K+ back block and bolt on a pre 2K body for more bolt options.
Here's a link to the COG,s compatibilty page.
