left pwrfd 68 body

hi there everyone,

i have a qustion regarding a left powerfeed 68 body. is it okay to cut down (trim) the powerfeed so the hopper can sit a bit lower? can this effect the working conditions on the marker?

I think it should be fine just be carefull doing it.

I did it, cut about 3/4 inch off the top of the power tube. I used a pipe cutter. Had to sand the edge of the powertube to remove the sharp edge.

Brought the hopper lower and closer to the gun, no changes to gun's performance. Only wish I did it sooner.

Yeah, everyone wishes they did it sooned, just one of those things people never get around to doing. You should notice even though it's like, 1/2 of and inch you cut, it feels like a foot

yeah, i am handing it over to my old man. he's a machinist, he has all that heavy duty machinery to cut.
