Mag Bodies

I am looking at a body to buy and I ran across this really cool looking one. It is a little bit longer than most I have seen and it has slots cut in the end of it like a machine gun shroud. It is a left PF also. THe only other mags I have seen this on is Minimags. Is this a mini mag body? Will It work on an intelliframe as a regular Mag?

What makes it a mini mag? What is the difference in a mini mag and a regular? If the Mini mag has a bigger body what makes it mini?

the same thing just body style and well i really dont know why its called a mini mag

If you look at general pictures of the mini mag you will notice that they have smaller barrels not your traditional size one. I belive somewher eon the agd site is sais it was modeled after the Tech9 handgun.

In the old AGD tech video Tom Kaye does state that the Minimag body is modeled after the 'assault pistol' look of the 1990's, most specifically the Tec-9 machine pistol.

That is a good question though, why the Minimag is referred to as 'mini' when it is really bigger and heavier. The only differences between it and the Automag is the body and the laser engraving on the valve assembly.

Did you get that from Danger? He said he was still waiting to hear from someone called "Alpha" to see if he was still going to buy the body and the valve. I just needed the body. Hopper on right side of body.
