    ARGH!!! I need help AGAIN!!!

I just got my mag finished. The gun was working fine but all of a sudden (for about 1000 shots) the leak started. Long story made short, the gun has a serious leak whenever I release the trigger. This has happened to me before but, I had my airsmith replace some O-rings and it was gone...

I was shooting really fast and I must has short-stroked a few times. Could short stroking do this?

This really sucks because I wanted to play with my mag this weekend.

    Please help ASAP!

    Thanks in advance...

Is it down the barrel? If it leaks down the barrel while holding the trigger back, it's an on/off leak.

sounds like the o-ring in the power tube...if so, you need to change the o-ring carrier to a smaller size...it should'nt be too too tight but have some friction.

If it goes away when you hold the trigger down then your problem is in the power tube.

If it's a level 7 mag then just replace the power tube oring. If it still happens, try a smaller power tube spacer.

If it's a level 10 mag then more than likely you need to step down a carrier size, but be sure to use the same oring. With the level 10 there is a break-in period for the oring, once the oring is broke in, you must step to the next smaller carrier. So if you currently have a number 2 carrier (two stripes) then you will want to step to a 1.5 carrier (1 strip, 1 dot).

                What Muzicman said

                Review your LVL10 info.

Many times when the orings break in they leak. Thats why that whole bag of different size carriers is included with the lvl 10 kit. Also, even the same size orings will vary a little. Go down one carrier size, USING THE SAME O-RING, lube the heck out of it, and try it again. Put some shots throught he gun to break it in. Depending on the personality of your gun you may need to do this again if another leak developes.

since you just built this gun....

any chance you left out the rail bushing where the thumb screw goes in:

If you did, this could be the problem. If it is missing, you valve is able to slide a tiny bit forward making things out of alignment. That is what happened to me, I left it out and spent hours trying to fix the leak. It may also be why it worked at 1st because back screw was tight and with every shot it creeped a bit forward.

                  Let us know...gl

                    Ok, I called AGD.

They walked me through breaking down my mag (Level 7).

                    Everything inside was all right.

When I reassembled the mag it ran. When I started shooting fast (Short stroking) it started leaking again. I have to learn the trigger pull of my new frame. However, when I pull the trigger all the way and release it, it leaks. The only way I can not get it to leak is to pull the trigger super fast and release it super fast. When I shoot slow, it leaks. The only way I can fix the leak is to remove the field strip screw, then the remaining air leaks from the valve. When re-assembled it runs fine. Then repeats the cycle.

This would be a horrible problem during a game...

Short-stroking shouldn't cause a big leak like this.

Could this be a timing issue?

I have a new frame, body, rail, foregrip, rail, and barrel. In short the only AGD part is the valve.

                    Is this a timing issue?
