Regulator help for a ion. what should i buy to up and how would i cange the volocity

ok jest bought an ion and i want to upgrade the regulator but dont know what to get?

im soo used to my mags im not used the regulators

im looking for one that recharges fast. i was thinking in getting a palmer stabilizer or a sidewinder but wanted to thoughts on what i should get

and also i wanted to know how i will change the volocity of the ion if i get a new reg. on the stock one theres that one screw thing that i have the use that wrench it came with to addjust the volocity and the input pressure of the gun but isent that part of the stock ion reg?? or not.

Im jest kinda lost on how im going to change the volocity?

If i upgrade to a different reg do they all come as a preset??

or would i have to buy something like this??

    (WGP Regulator External Adjuster Cap)

or do i jest swamp the addjusting thing from my old reg??

    help me out. thanks

don't know a whole lot about ions but i would assume you can just buy a new reg, take your old off, and screw new on.

if you get any decent reg (like not a stock wgp reg) you can adjust the pressure with an allen key probably just like you do with your ion.

The fatty is adjustable. You will be running somewhere below the middle of the adjustment range of that reg. Most Ion's I've been seeing around are running between 150 and 180 psi. That's what the stock gauge is reading. I do know that if you go much higher than that you'll end up blowing the hose from the solenoid to the front of the air chamber.

I've shot several cases through my ion and haven't seen any problems with the stock reg at all. It seems to recharge just fine and keep up with even rebound mode and 17 bps.
