    Low pressure (Why not?)

Today for the hell of it, I screwed my crossfire 45/45 low pressure tank onto my mag.

It ran just fine. I know you are supposed to run a mag on high pressure...

I have not chronied it but will it shoot 280fps with a low pressure tank?

I am soon getting my 45/45 converted from LP to HP and I wanted to know if I don't even need to do that.

It goes bang when I pull the trigger. Am I missing something here?

    This is what I have...

450 Is on the edge. I'm sure you won't top 6 to 8 BPS on it without some shootdown. Level ten might not work as well and you won't get any where near 300 FPS I'm guessing.

      AGD Did someone call me?

You should go to each gun manufacturers forum or call them up. Ask the OWNER of the company why his gun is better. When you get your answers come back here and tell us what they said.

You should buy my gun because I have 5000 posts that say I care.

        It's a mech gun...

I probably won't shoot more than 6 bps...

        @ 280 FPS

        Will I be ok?

I'm sure Duck meant mech mag allright, a mech mag can do rates above 30 bps, with higher input, at so low input, you can't hit the trigger to fast per second or you'll not allow the valve to recharge in time.
Either way, this question of High vs Low is pretty useless, using high or low, since the valve as a built-in regulator, you'll not spend more or less air either way. The air only flows faster into the valve. ANyway i don't think there's a championship of the lowest psi actuating valve

P.S - There's some saying that firing a mag without barrel can consume more air then normal with barrel and shooting a ball.

P.S. dry fireing any paintball gun with out paint consumes more air than with paint,

about ~50psi is left in the chamber after firing a ball. It's called backpressure.
